Tracing an Energetic Pattern to Its Origin
After nearly thirty years of working with energy, intuition, and spiritual allies, I have learned that healing does not always begin where we think it will.
Sometimes a client comes to me knowing something is wrong but unable to name it. They may feel emotionally burdened, blocked in their relationships, pulled into repeated conflict, or unable to move forward no matter how hard they try.
My job is not to begin with an assumption.
I do not start by deciding that someone has a curse, an attachment, or a past-life condition. I begin by mapping the person’s energy and allowing the body to reveal where the story is being held.
Recently, I worked with a couple whose session became one of the most unusual and revealing experiences I have encountered.
Mapping the Energy Before Naming the Problem
At the beginning of the session, none of us knew that we would eventually be looking at what I perceived as a curse.
I began the same way I teach my students to begin in my online classes: by mapping the client’s energetic fundamentals.
Through years of practice, my intuitive awareness has learned to recognize the shape, movement, and concentration of energy within a person’s field. I observe where the energy flows naturally, where it becomes restricted, and where different parts of the system appear to be pulling inward.
I also ask the client what they are feeling.
The client’s own experience matters. Their emotions, physical sensations, relationships, and repeating life patterns help reveal how the energy may be manifesting in the present.
As I mapped this man’s field, I noticed that much of his energy appeared to be pulled toward his lower abdomen. It was as though his system was being drawn into one concentrated area.
That kind of pattern can sometimes indicate that a person has been carrying something for a long time. It may appear as unresolved emotion, trauma, an inherited family pattern, an attachment, or an imprint that seems to extend beyond one lifetime.
At that point, I still did not know exactly what we were dealing with.
I simply followed the energy.
Only after mapping the larger field did my awareness settle more clearly into the area of the second chakra and groin.
That is where the deeper story began to reveal itself.
The Emotional Body and the Inner Battle
In the way I understand the energetic system, the second chakra is connected to the emotional body, relationships, intimacy, creativity, desire, and our ability to experience life with movement and feeling.
I also understand the emotional body as a karmic body.
Karma, to me, is not simply punishment. It is cause and effect. It is the place where we meet the consequences of actions, choices, relationships, and unresolved experiences. It is also where we have opportunities to learn, grow, and choose differently.
In this particular case, the pattern did not feel like an ordinary emotional wound.
It felt as though something had been deliberately intensified or tampered with, creating an inner battle that made it more difficult for him to build and maintain a good life.
With the help of my spiritual allies, the energy became more distinct.
Archangel Michael helped direct my awareness toward what felt like a steel wire or cable embedded within the client’s electrical field. It carried a heavy weight, almost like an anchor attached to it.
I could feel the density of it and the intention behind it.
To me, it communicated that the pattern had been placed there deliberately and that it had remained connected to him for a very long time.
There was also a strong, putrid smell associated with the energy.
Energetic impressions do not always come through as images. Sometimes they come through as pressure, temperature, sound, taste, or smell. This odor carried the strange quality of something that felt both old and still active.
It is not a smell I will easily forget.
My guides and I first worked to remove what I perceived from his present-day emotional and electrical field.
That distinction is important.
We did not begin by going directly into the past.
We first addressed where the energy appeared to be living in him now—where it had manifested, maintained itself, and continued affecting his emotions, relationships, and inner life.
Only after that present-day anchor was removed did we begin tracing the energetic thread backward toward its source.
Following the Thread Through Time
As the work continued, I began receiving images that seemed to reach nearly two centuries into the past.
The first clear impression was a year:
1879.
I then perceived a man dressed in the dark robes of what appeared to be a Spanish priest.
At first, I could only see pieces of the story.
I sensed that a family was in danger because of their gifts or their way of helping others. They may have been herbalists, healers, intuitive people, or individuals who were considered suspicious because they did not conform to the accepted beliefs of the time.
In the story I perceived, the priest chose to help this family escape the land where the curse had been created.
He was not the person who created it.
He was attempting to protect others from it.
But by helping the family leave, the energy intended for them appeared to attach itself to him.
I understood the priest to be connected to my client through another lifetime.
The pattern then seemed to continue with him through multiple lives and generations, maintaining itself until it reached the present.
At first, I could not perceive the entire story. My own intuition showed me fragments, but the larger picture was still incomplete.
So I invited more of my spiritual allies into the process.
When Allies Reveal the Illuminated Truth
The difference was immediate.
It felt as though floodlights had been switched on in a room that had only been dimly lit.
The separate images began to connect.
The people, intentions, and events became clearer. I was able to perceive more of where the energy had entered, how it had attached itself, and how it had continued traveling through time.
This experience taught me something important about spiritual allies.
They do not replace my intuition.
They expand it.
They help illuminate the places I cannot clearly see on my own. Each ally may reveal a different layer of the same experience, allowing the larger story to come into focus.
The more clearly the origin is revealed, the more precisely I can understand what needs to be addressed.
In this case, after removing the present-day imprint from the client’s emotional and electrical field, we followed the thread backward. I perceived that the pattern extended through approximately eight generations or lifetimes.
We then worked at what appeared to be the source of the curse.
My intention was not to attack the people who had created it or to send harmful energy back toward anyone.
The work was to interrupt the pattern at its beginning.
Rather than fighting it at the end of a long chain, we went to the point before it had gained momentum and continued into the future.
In my experience, when the origin of a pattern is brought fully into awareness, the energy can begin to change.
Truth itself creates movement.
Clarity allows what has been hidden to be witnessed, understood, and released.
The Unexpected Connection to 1879
After the session, I told my client that the year I had been shown was 1879.
He gasped.
He then told me that he had recently been working at a job site with the address 1879.
While at that location, he came across a large cross with a metal box beneath it. He opened the box, and sometime afterward, he began experiencing serious difficulties in his marriage and personal life.
He later described the cross and the metal box he discovered while working at that location. As he told the story, the timing and the connection to the year 1879 gave both of us reason to pause and reflect.
I cannot say with certainty that the address, the cross, or the box caused what he was experiencing.
I also cannot say that the photograph proves the vision I received.
It may have been a coincidence.
It may have been a synchronicity.
It may have carried a connection that neither of us fully understands.
What I do know is that the appearance of the same number gave both of us reason to pause.
Sometimes life presents us with correlations that do not fit neatly inside ordinary explanations. I believe it is important to remain open without forcing certainty.
Mystery does not always need to be solved immediately.
Sometimes it simply asks us to pay attention.
Healing the Present Before Clearing the Past
One of the most important lessons from this session was that healing did not begin in 1879.
It began in the client’s present-day emotional body.
Before we could address the perceived source, we had to understand where the pattern was living within him now.
We mapped his field.
We observed where his energy was concentrating.
We listened to what he had been feeling.
We identified the area where the pattern appeared to be anchored.
We removed the present-day energetic structure.
Then we followed the thread backward.
This is the process I teach.
Do not chase an extraordinary answer.
Do not begin by naming something before you understand it.
Map the energy first.
Allow the client’s body and consciousness to show you where the story is being held.
Invite the allies who can help illuminate the truth.
Then follow the pattern with patience, clarity, and compassion.
What This Experience Taught Me
For many years, I thought of spiritual allies primarily as guides and protectors.
I now understand them as something more.
They are illuminators.
They help reveal intention, history, emotional residue, and the deeper relationships between what happened in the past and what a person is experiencing today.
The clearer the picture becomes, the less room there is for fear and confusion.
The goal is not to create a dramatic story.
The goal is to help the person become free from what has been influencing their life.
Whether someone understands this work literally, symbolically, spiritually, psychologically, or ancestrally, the central principle remains the same:
Hidden patterns lose much of their power when they are brought into the light.
We do not always heal by battling darkness.
Sometimes we heal by patiently following its roots until they reach the light.
And sometimes our allies are the floodlights that help us see the way.
